To those who doesn't know this stuff yet, this will be useful especially if you want to sketch your water surface gradeline by trial & error.
I found this useful because after our surveyor plotted the profile of a proposed canal, the hard copy could be lost someplace. So it is beneficial to have a soft copy on the computer.
Here it is.
1. On excel, encode the coordinates of the point to be plotted in a column of x & y, x coordinate should be on the first column.
2. If you want to import the coordinates as point on autocad, highlight the 2 columns then go to autocad and type "multiple" ENTER then "point" then on the command window, paste the copied cells, the points will be imported on autocad.
3. By default, you cannot see the points because the default type of point cannot be seen. So type "pdmode" then type "3", here you can now see the points in X-format.
4. To change the size of the point marks, type "pdsize" and type a decimal number until you reach your desired mark size.
